Chadds Ford Wawa to Reopen with Awesome Amenities

Customers will be able to purchase beer and enjoy restaurant-style seating.

Dreams really do come true. Now when you stop for gas and a hoagie, you can eat it without ruining your car’s upholstery. And don’t forget that six-pack on your way out. The Wawa located on Naamans Creek Road in Chadds Ford has been closed for renovations since early January and is set to reopen Wednesday, Feb. 16. The highlights of the grand reopening include a new layout featuring restaurant-style seating, a new stone façade, upscale cabinetry and lighting and a walk-in beer cooler with a single serve and six-pack section for beer sales.

To celebrate, there will be a ribbon-cutting Thursday, Feb. 16 beginning at 9 a.m. Tours will be given and Chris Gheysens, Wawa president and CEO will speak. There will also be a beer-tasting event, courtesy of 2SP Brewing Company, Victory Brewing Company, Dogfish Head Brewery and Yuengling. The local brewers will provide samples and suggest Wawa foods that pair well with their beers.
