Delaware restaurants around the state hope to upgrade your date night this Valentine’s Day with a myriad of specials. 

From dining on-site to take-home dinners, we’ve compiled a cheat sheet to some of the holiday menus planned around the First State. Remember to reserve your seat or to-go meal early.

Columbus Inn  

The Wilmington restaurant offers two different specials, one for takeout and one for dine-in, both running Feb. 12-14. For takeout, enjoy five courses for two including a shrimp and crab cocktail and petite filet roast. Order the special for $125. For dine-in, the eatery is offering a four-course meal with a variety of menu options to choose from. The $65 per person menu includes Long Island duck breast and short rib, shrimp and grits.

Hilton Wilmington/Christiana 

Enjoy dinner at the hotel’s Market Kitchen and Bar. The special menu, running from Feb. 12-14, includes dishes like duck ragout with rigatoni and crab imperial filled tilapia. The hotel is also offering a dinner and hotel package deal, which includes a four-course dinner for two delivered to the room, a bottle of Verdi champagne, and overnight accommodations in a king deluxe room for $299/night.

Home Grown Cafe

The Newark café offers a Valentine’s weekend dinner menu. From Feb. 12-14, patrons can choose to dine in or take-out with a prix fixe or a la carte menu. Menu items include smoked short ribs and seared yellowfin tuna.

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

Iron Hill tempts with a special Sweetheart Menu that features three entrees alongside a thoughtful selection of craft beers and wines. Choose between bites like char-grilled NY steak and shrimp or pan-seared sea scallops. The menu includes two entrees and dessert for two for $60. For Delawareans who want to indulge at home, the restaurant’s pizza craft kits for four feature instructions on how to make a heart-shaped pizza and run $20.

Le Cavalier at The Green Room 

The French brasserie in the Hotel Du Pont offers dine-in options with menu items like Lobster Louie and Duck a l’Orange. Plus, a take-home option through its Maison x Le Cav program includes a four-course meal. Both options are available Feb. 12-14. The restaurant and the hotel are also offering chef-curated and French-inspired in-suite dining packages. Groups of two to 10 can enjoy a three-hour dinner block or dinner and an overnight stay.

Painted Stave Distilling  

In collaboration with Cute in Charcuterie and Kee’s Cupcakes, the Smyrna distillery offers a take-home box. The box includes a charcuterie board, cupcakes and bottled cocktails. Couples can choose from the date night, upgraded date night and deluxe date night options. Available for pickup on Feb. 12 and 13.

Park Café  

Remember to place your order by Feb. 10 to enjoy this Valentine’s Day dinner package. Available for pickup from Feb. 12-14, the package lets guests create a four-course dinner for two from a variety of menu items like rendered duck breast and crab imperial stuffed flounder. The package runs for $125.

Piccolina Toscana  

Along with dine-in, Piccolina is offering a dinner for two to enjoy at home. The $130 package includes three courses and the option to include sparkling wine and/or a charcuterie board for an added price. Orders are to be picked up on Feb. 14.

SoDel Concepts  

The downstate restaurant group is offering a variety of events and menus at its eateries. Enjoy a floral workshop at Baywood or a brewers’ brunch at Thompson Island.

Spark’d Creative Pastry  

The bakery located in DECO food hall will be holding a Valentine’s Day bake sale. It will include a variety of sweet treats from pies to cakes available for pre-order and pick-up with 48 hours’ notice.

Stone Balloon Ale House  

The Newark eatery hosts a reservation-only dinner on Feb. 14 for dine-in or takeout. For $50 per couple or $65 with a bottle of wine, enjoy a three-course menu with an appetizer, main course and dessert.
