Harvest House, Wilmington Eatery Serving Fresh Fare, Is Open

Big Fish Restaurant Group has revived what was formerly Presto! Coffee Bar.

Wilmingtonians in need of a mid-morning pick-me-up or a healthy lunch option after a tough workout at the Central YMCA have a new place to turn. Harvest House, a new coffee shop and eatery, opened July 8 on the corner of the city’s Washington and 12th streets.

Now owned by Big Fish Restaurant Group (which also owns the neighboring Washington Street Ale House and Mikimotos Asian Grill and Sushi Bar), the “fresh, wholesome, local concept” is located in the former Presto! Coffee Bar, which was in business from 2006 to 2014.

The menu at Harvest House consists of cold-pressed juices provided by Wilmington Green Box, fresh fruit smoothies, breakfast options (avocado toast, bagels), salads, sandwiches and wraps. There are also plenty of caffeinated concoctions, plus delicious pastries provided by De La Coeur.

There are also plenty of grab-and-go items for customers in a hurry.
