With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, it's time to start planning dinner before all the turkey has flown off the shelves. This year, why not start a new tradition and let one of Delaware's top restaurants do the work for you? All you need is yourself, your loved ones and a reservation.

New Castle County

Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront • 720 Justison St., Wilmington
When: 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On the menu: Thanksgiving dinner buffet includes candy apple pork belly bites, Virginia oysters, caramelized salmon and roasted turkey as well as à la carte seafood entrees and a raw bar.
Pricing: $33.95 per adult, $16.95 per child (12 years and under) and $5.95 per child under 4 years.

Caffe Gelato • 90. E Main St., Newark
When: Orders should be placed online or over the phone by Nov. 19. A delivery option is available for $29; pick-up is Nov. 21 from 1 to 9 p.m.
On the menu: A nine-pound roasted turkey breast is the star, accompanied by included sides of mashed or whipped sweet potatoes, sun dried tomato and basil stuffing, butternut squash ravioli, pancetta almond green beans and more.

When: 1 to 6 p.m.

Deerfield Golf Club • 507 Thompson Station Road, Newark
When: Noon to 6 p.m.
On the menu: Enjoy a buffet with holiday favorites like roasted turkey with gravy, mashed yams and assorted pies as well as specialty dishes like champagne chicken, crab cakes and Kobe NY strip steak.

Harry's Savoy Grill • 2020 Naamans Road, Wilmington
When: Noon to 6:30 p.m.
On the menu: Holiday buffet features a carving station with turkey and prime rib; sides including shrimp cocktail, butternut squash and hot crab dip. Be sure to save room for dessert.
Pricing: $49.95 per adult and $17.95 per child (5 to 12 years).

Hilton Wilmington/Christiana​ • 100 Continental Drive, Newark
When: Noon to 6 p.m.
On the menu: Thanksgiving Day buffet with locally sourced ingredients like classic roasted turkey, Angus prime rib, seafood, a salad station and Viennese desserts.
Pricing: $54.95 per adult and $19.95 per child (4 to 11 years).

Hotel Du Pont • 42 W 11th St., Wilmington
When: Buffet: 11 a.m. and 1:30 seating; Dinner: noon and 2:30 p.m. seating.
On the menu: Grand Ballroom buffet with traditional offerings, plus a sushi display, international cheese and a dessert table; à la carte dinner also available.
Pricing: Buffet: $75 per adult, $39 per child (5 to 11 years). Dinner: $85 per adult, $39 per child.

Janssen's Market • 3801 Kennett Pike, Greenville
When: Orders should be placed by November 15.
On the menu: Let Janssen's do the work this year with its extensive take-home menu including individual dishes and traditional Thanksgiving platters.
Pricing: Menu items individually priced. Platters range from $85 to $295.

Ole Tapas Lounge and Restaurant • 1126 Capitol Trail, Newark
When: Orders must be placed by November 20.
On the menu: Take home a whole-herb roasted turkey and sides like saffron rice, pumpkin hummus, casserole (green bean and sweet potato), pumpkin pie and cured meats.
Pricing: $189 serves seven to 10 people, $119 serves four to six.

Redfire Grill and Steakhouse • 400 Lantana Drive, Hockessin
When: All orders must be placed by 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19. Orders can be picked up on Thursday, Nov. 22 between 10 a.m. and noon.
On the menu: Let Platinum Dining do the cooking for you. Pick up your holiday dinner, complete with turkey, gravy, honey glazed ham mashed potatoes, green beans, glazed carrots, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
Pricing: $135 serves two to four, $280 serves six to eight and $400 serves 10 to 12 people.

Timothy's on the Riverfront • 930 Justison St., Wilmington 
When: Noon to 6 p.m.
On the menu: A full buffet includes entrees like brown sugar glazed ham, pumpkin ravioli and roasted turkey, plus side dishes like sausage stuffing, cranberry relish and maple-glazed sweet potatoes and an assorted dessert table.

On the menu: The whole family will enjoy this buffet, which will be serving up plenty of the classics like carved turkey, stuffing and assorted desserts, as well as some specialty items like oyster stuffing, flounder Florentine and eggplant parmesan.

Harrington Raceway and Casino • 18500 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington  
When: 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On the menu: Buffet includes roasted turkey, ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and assorted desserts.

Michele's Restaurant in Dover Downs Hotel & Casino • 1131 N. Dupont Hwy., Dover
When: Noon to 7 p.m.
On the menu: Enjoy a classic Thanksgiving buffet at Dover Downs' fine dining establishment.

Sussex County

Bethany Blues • 18385 Coastal Hwy., Lewes
When: Orders must be placed by November 15.
On the menu: Closed for dine-in on Thanksgiving Day, but offers an extensive take-out menu of fully prepared meals for families of all sizes, featuring the choice of additional sides and dessert.
Pricing: $179 serves eight to 10 people, $99 serves four to five.

Big Fish Grill • 20298 Coastal Hwy., Rehoboth Beach  
When: 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On the menu: Dinner buffet includes a raw bar, antipasto platters, a carving station (roasted turkey, prime rib, honey ham, pork roast and seafood), homemade sides (glazed carrots, oyster stuffing, creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts), desserts and a selection of à la carte add-ons.

Blue Moon • 5 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach
When: Reservations 3 to 8 p.m.

The Buttery • 102 2nd St., Lewes
When: Take-out orders must be places by November 16. You can pick up your orders on Thursday, Nov. 22 between 10 a.m. and noon. Dinner is served from 1 to 9 p.m.
On the menu: Fully prepared take-home Thanksgiving dinner includes bourbon brioche stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, assorted pie and roasted turkey. The restaurant is also offering a four-course dining experience including soup, salad, entrée (free-range turkey, filet mignon, lamb shank, or crab-stuffed flounder) and dessert.
