This California couple flew to Lewes to be with family and friends for their outdoor wedding.

Carly Chamberlin and Artie Johann flew from California to Lewes to be with family and friends for their outdoor wedding. Carly purchased her Paloma Blanca dress during a charity event for Making Memories, an organization that sells sample and used dresses to raise money for Breast Cancer research and granting wishes for breast cancer patients. The ceremony and reception were held on the grounds of the Lewes Historical Society, with its historic buildings neatly arranged in a square. The atmosphere of the unique venue is that of a 17th-century village. During the ceremony, Carly and Artie also had Shel Silverstein poems read in place of traditional readings. The poems included “The Dirtiest Man in the World,” which all the guests enjoyed. To complete the backyard-style wedding, the couple hired a barbecue caterer and played lawn games, including croquet and bocce.
