Welcome to Home Skillet, a blog that’s way more Italian than these guys. Here’s what we got:
NOW–Saturday, June 12: It’s a good week to be a foodie in Rehoboth Beach. The (unofficial) restaurant capital of the state continues with its annual Restaurant Week with more great specials and innovative menus.
The deal is: Three-course dinners all over town for either $30 or $20 (depending on the place) and even a few special lunch menus. Click your way over to here for a more detailed look.
Participating restaurants include: Back Porch Café, Blue, Blue Moon, Café Sole, Catcher’s, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, Dos Locos Fajita and Stonegrill, Eden Restaurant, Espuma, Hobo’s Restaurant and Bar, Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant, Jake’s Seafood House, Lupo di Mare, Mariachi Restaurant, Pig + Fish Restaurant Company, Porcini House, Rehoboth Ale House, Rigby’s Bar & Grill, Ristorante Zebra, Salt Air, Stingray Sushi Bar + Asian Latino Grill, Stoney Lonen, Summer House and Victoria’s Restaurant.
NOW-Sunday June 13: The time has come once again to revel in Italian passion, artisanship, culture, and, most importantly, panzarotti.
It’s the St. Anthony’s Italian Festival at St Anthony’s of Padua, a Wilmington classic and one of the largest ethnic fests on the East Coast.
Expect plenty of spaghetti, ravioli, broccoli rabe, smelts, porkette, oh, and lots of music and entertainment, family activities, and much more spread across dozens of city blocks.
Check out St. Anthony’s revamped Website here for a full rundown.
