Thursday, November 26: Plenty of area restaurants are open and serving special Thanksgiving meals on the big day. Here are just a few:

Brandywine Prime is serving a traditional Thanksgiving buffet from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. for just $28.95 per person. The restaurant has posted a full menu on its website here.

Harry’s Savoy Grill is busting out its Thanksgiving dinner in both buffet and a la carte iterations from noon until 9 p.m. Thursday. Turkey, plus all the trimmings, are available on both options. Click here and here for Harry’s full rundown.

 

New Castle’s Prince on Delaware is doing a special Thanksgiving menu with slow-roasted turkey and chef Prince Johnson’s secret-family-recipe sausage and wild rice stuffing. Other great entrées and soups are available, too. Call 326-1130 to reserve your spot.

 

Friday, November 27: Wilmington’s venerable Moro Restaurant will host an evening of wine and haute cuisine Friday night for The Wines of Robert Mondavi six-course wine dinner.

 

Chef Michael DiBianca’s menu includes many autumnal selections, like roasted pork belly with festival squash fritter, fig jam, 
micro celery and orange oil, accompanied by wines from Napa Valley icon, Robert Mondavi Vineyards.
