As framing continued, our hip roof lines were constructed. The quality of the finished product is always contingent on the quality of the “bones” of a building—the framing.
We used Zip Sheathing, not only for the walls, but for the roof system as well. The Zip System Roof product, like the Zip Wall System, has an impregnated moisture barrier with tape to seal seams, which gives an instant, rough dry-in. This product has saved us LOTS of aggravation, since we have had such a wet fall. Note the precision lines on the finished product.
