Maria Spano is a writer, researcher, reporter and editor with over a decade of experience in media. She received her bachelor of arts in communications from Fordham University and began her journalism career as an editor and reporter on staff at Us Weekly magazine in New York. She later became news editor at Life & Style Weekly and has contributed to various national publications, including Cosmopolitan magazine and Architectural Digest, over the years. Maria worked closely with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Buzz Bissinger on Caitlyn Jenner’s autobiography, The Secrets of my Life, and New York Times bestseller, The Mosquito Bowl. The Philadelphia native, now managing editor at Delaware Today, is also a yoga teacher and practitioner and has competed nationally with USA Yoga.
