Influencers Health & Wellness Basketball/Tech Tournament

In New Castle County, Delaware with violence in the community being at an all-time high, the youth needs its leaders now more than ever before. The Influencers Health & Wellness Basketball & Tech Tournament combines sports, tech, influence, and mental health support for this urgent time to provide sustainability in our kids’ lives. The tournament would have various health and wellness resources on site (for kids and adults}, summer youth program support, and an influential gaming extravaganza. Each year, we aim to gain more support from our local communities and partners from around the world to help with our mission of keeping kids active, off the streets, traveling for exposure, and protecting their mental health. It truly takes a village to make a powerful impact. The MVP of the tournament wins a trip to Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana.
The Health & Wellness Basketball Tournament:
· Date: Saturday, June 25, 2022
· Duration: One day, single elimination (5 on 5 basketball)
· Location: PAL of Wilmington | 3707 N. Market Street | Wilmington, DE 19802
· Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Basketball Tournament Players: Youth Ages 12-14 (8 Teams) – 64 Participants
The NBA2K22 Health & Wellness Gaming Tournament:
Futures First Gaming will host & stream a total of Two (2) Parent / Leader Information Sessions on Mental Health benefits of gaming and Career Opportunities in Technology and Esports Industry during the in person event. FFG topics to include but not limited to: Social Services, Employment, Esports Career Paths, Health, etc.
· Time: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
· Gaming Tournament Players: Youth Ages (17 and under) – 100 participants
