The Wonders of Wildlife: Paintings and Prints by Richard Clifton

August 31 @ 10:00 am - October 31 @ 4:30 pm

Free

The Historic Odessa Foundation is honored to present the photo realistic wildlife paintings and prints of the nationally acclaimed Milford, Delaware artist Richard Clifton. The exhibition The Wonders of Wildlife: Painting and Prints by Richard Clifton is on display now through Oct. 31, 2021, in the foundation’s Visitors Center Gallery.

The Wonders of Wildlife features a collection of acrylic paintings and prints including Clifton’s 2020 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest winner depicting a single Lesser Scaup drake which will adorn the 2021-2022 U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Duck Stamp. The contest is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious wildlife art event. Since 1934, Duck Stamp sales have raised more than $1.1 billion to protect over 6 million acres of wetlands habitat on national wildlife refuges around the United States. Clifton has also been venerated as Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year three times while his art often graces the covers of their magazine.
