The Face of Getting Together for Good Times and Good Food

In 2015, longtime neighbors Lee Mikles and Jim O’Donoghue opened their first Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen in Newark with the purpose of creating that third place between work and home to bring people together. Combining craft food, beers and cocktails with live music in a family-friendly atmosphere, the first-time restaurant owners earned Best New Restaurant by the readers of Delaware Today.

Fast forward to today, when the pair has three award-winning locations in Newark, Kennett Square and on the C&D Canal. While each location picks up the character of its neighborhood, they all possess outdoor dining, craft food and drink creations and regular live music.

This summer, Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen will be reaching the beach with a waterfront location in Lewes.
