Bahama Breeze Gives $10,000 Grant to Food Bank of Delaware

The donation supports the organization’s mission to alleviate hunger in Delaware.

Bahama Breeze in Newark selected Food Bank of Delaware to receive a $10,000 grant from the Darden Foundation, the charitable arm of the restaurant’s parent company, Darden Restaurants.

The donation will support the Food Bank of Delaware’s goals to alleviate hunger for the more than 114,000 food insecure Delawareans. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank can provide two meals to households in need.
