A shining star on Wilmington’s dining scene is set to be featured in a video on Vice.
The media company’s food section, Munchies, showcases chefs creating a dish in its test kitchen. Bardea Food & Drink co-founder and executive chef Antimo DiMeo visited the New York City test kitchen to create a fall butternut squash risotto with shrimp ‘nduja and burrata. View the recipe here.

Appearing on Vice coincides closely with Bardea updating its menu. The James Beard semifinalist restaurant, which opened a little over a year ago, announced its Bardea 2.0 menu in October via Instagram. The Vice demoed dish is not on the new menu.

The new menu keeps some staple dishes but adds new items including duck ravioli, tortellini en brodo and rabbit saddle.
