Adventure Awaits at Wilmington Brew Works and Delaware State Parks this summer! The Delaware brewery partnered with Delaware State Parks and the Delaware Tourism Office to bring this Belgian-style summer brew to Delaware.
Every pack includes four different cans, each inspired by a different Delaware park. The first pack, which the brewery released this week, includes designs inspired by Trap Pond State Park, Bellevue State Park, Cape Henlopen State Park and Fort Delaware State Park. Next summer, the release will feature four new state park designs.

“They’re all photos owned by the state parks,” explains John Fusco, VP of creative and brand marketing at the brewery and the designer behind the state park-inspired cans. “The design is emulating old posters from parks, celebrating everything the state parks have to offer.”
The project is a result of Fusco sitting next to Alex Hannah, the Chief of Marketing at Delaware State Parks, at a local business event. Wilmington Brew Works is a longtime supporter of local parks, sponsoring concerts at Rockford and Bellevue. After meeting at the event, Fusco and Hannah planned a beer collaboration for the summer, and Adventure Awaits was born!
Where to Find Adventure Awaits
Adventure Awaits will join the lineup of beers being served at the concerts at Rockford Park and Bellevue State Park this season. Aside from various parks events, the brewery is the only place to grab a glass on tap or a four-pack of cans for now.
While the can design is stunning, it’s what’s inside that counts! Adventure Awaits certainly delivers on its promise to be the ideal summer beverage to enjoy outdoors. With a 4.2% ABV, you can drink more than one or two in a sitting. The crisp and refreshing flavor profile of the Belgian-style wit includes notes of banana, bubblegum and clove. Adventure Awaits pairs perfectly with a slice of orange and a healthy dose of summer sun.
