Celebrity Chefs Return to Primavera da Vinci

With an array of delectable food stations and more than 20 fine wines, the fourth annual Primavera promises to be a can’t-miss event.

It’s time again for Primavera da Vinci at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana on March 20. The fourth annual Prima Vera is a culinary and wine extravaganza featuring an array of masterpieces prepared by local celebrity chefs complimented with more than 20 fine wines. Enjoy spectacular food stations with homemade pastas, veal, seafood, steak, desserts plus other entrée specialties; the wines, of course; a discounted wine store where you can buy your favorites; continuous live entertainment by The Smooth Sounds of Steve Silicato & DJ Anita Trofa; and a silent auction—all for $85, with special hotel packages available. Celebrity chefs include Giuseppe Martuscelli of La Casa Pasta, Stefania Panza of Soffritto Italian Grill, Robert Fratticcioli of the Hilton and Patrick D’Amico of Harry’s Savoy Grill. A tease: Martuscelli will prepare veal Saltimbocca with tomato-herb risotto, arugula salad, broccoli rabe with sautéed garlic, tomato Bruschetta with crostini, marinated artichoke salad, and grilled Italian bread with garlic butter served with hot and mild sopresetta. Over the years, Societa’ da Vinci has awarded grants that support its mission of promoting and advancing the cultural heritage of the Italian people through education, service, charity and community events. All funds raised by the Societa’ da Vinci go directly back into the community through its grants program. 504-1364, www.societadavinci.org
