If you want to maximize your time on the sand, water or trail this summer, plan ahead.
Blackwall Hitch in downtown Rehoboth Beach now offers beach lunchboxes for $12. Options include shrimp salad with green-leaf lettuce and tomato on a toasted seed roll, a grilled chicken Caesar wrap, a grilled-vegetables-and-feta wrap, and a roasted turkey BLT. Each comes with bottled water, house-made chips and fresh fruit.
Prefer a salad? Choose from the Cobb salad topped with diced turkey or the Southwest chicken salad with field greens, veggies, cheddar cheese and tortilla chips.
The to-go lunches are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week. Call in advance and pick them up on your way to the beach. (You can also walk into the restaurant to order.)
