Delaware Park is putting a fun spin on the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) with its Day of the Dead Food Truck Festival this Friday, Nov. 1 from 6-9 p.m.
The event is a nod to the holiday when families celebrate souls of deceased relatives and are briefly reunited with them. The day typically includes food, drink and celebration, which is exactly what the casino is offering. Guests can expect pay-as-you-go food truck fare provided by Rolling Revolution, drink specials, live music and more according to the Facebook event.
The festival will be held in the casino’s Outside Grove Area (trackside). This event will occur rain or shine; admission and parking are free.
