The Delaware State Fair’s Triple Threat BBQ, Beer, & Music Festival April 11-12 was so successful, organizers have announced the second annual event, to be held April 10-11, 2015. That’s two days of barbecue, beer, wine, music, entertainment, a People’s Choice Tasting Event, and a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned competition. “The Triple Threat offered a great opportunity for people to get out of their house and have a good time with family and friends,” says Robin Rockemann of the Delaware State Fair. “The turnout for the event was fantastic, with almost 9,000 attendees. For a first time event, we are really proud of how well the festival went.” “The highest team count for inaugural events through KCBS was 75. The Triple Threat exploded into the barbecue world with a staggering 122 teams. That is impressive,” says event coordinator Sandy Fulton.
