March 11: Cherry Blossom Lager Tailgate Release Party
Starting at 5 p.m., Fordham & Dominion will once again open the floodgates for beer lovers for their newest release—the Cherry Blossom Lager. This fruity spring ale is likely to attract a large crowd similar to the release of their Thin Mint brew, so arrive at 5 p.m. for a tour and a glass for tasting. March 12: St. Patty’s Day Loop
The St. Patty’s Day Loop, a Wilmington tradition, is set for March 12 starting at 7 p.m. Venues include 8th & Union Kitchen, Chelsea Tavern, Dead Presidents, Ernest & Scott, Timothy’s and more. Get your shuttle wristband at your first stop. Then party on because on St. Patrick’s Day, we’re all Irish.
March 12: Grilled Cheese and Craft Beer Tastings
The World Cafe Live at the Queen doesn’t mess around with its grilled cheese sandwiches—there’s no American cheese and Wonder Bread here. Instead at its popular pairing event, it served grilled cheese sandwiches fit for a king. Take the Old Bay cheddar grilled cheese sandwich with a mini-crab cake paired with a Yards Saison ale, for example. The tap on March 12 will feature Yards Brewing Company, based in Philadelphia. March 17: Starboard Opening Weekend
Just in time for St. Patty’s Day weekend, The Starboard is back and open for business. There will be live music all weekend long starting with LauraLea and Tripp Fabulous on March 17.
March 26: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
On the day before Easter, enjoy breakfast with the whole family—and the Easter Bunny. Photo ops abound on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry with Delaware Bay as your backdrop. Seating times are at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Adult tickets are $22, children are $12 and children under 3 are free.
