The arrival of another fast-casual restaurant in Delaware is always good news, considering so many of us rarely leave our desks for lunch and are often too tired to whip up something from scratch for dinner. And if you love multicultural cuisine, then Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill has your name written all over it.
What’s great about the menu is it is completely customizable (think El Diablo and the hundreds of possibilities you can create there). You start with a pita or a bowl, add shawarma, steak or falafel, add salad and garnishes and finish with your choice of sauce, like Tahini or Harissa.
The restaurant is holding its grand opening celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at its location on Geoffrey Drive in Christiana. Customers will receive a free pita sandwich or bowl for lunch (11 a.m.-1 p.m.) or for dinner (5-7 p.m.). Naf Naf is also giving away free swag and providing a DJ in addition to collecting donations for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Delaware Valley Chapter.
Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill has 39 locations across seven states and Washington D.C. The Christiana restaurant is the first to open in Delaware.
