Where to Dine Out in Delaware for Father’s Day This Year

From special events to limited-time menu items, there’s a variety of ways to celebrate dad this year across the First State. 

With special occasions beginning to feel normal again, many Delawareans are looking for ways to dine out and celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, June 20.

Delaware Today compiled a list of restaurants’ Father’s Day menus and special events to make planning a day for dad a little easier.

BBC Tavern and Grill

At this Greenville eatery, treat dad to brunch or dinner, both served on June 20. The special brunch menu, served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will include items like steak and eggs, chicken and waffles and Bloody and Burger (a BBC burger with a Bloody Mary). Enjoy dinner from 4-8 p.m. with dishes like NY strip steak with shrimp and a 12-ounce pork chop.

Bonefish Grill

Enjoy some surf and turf with Bonefish’s filet and lobster tail entrée featuring a 7-ounce steak with a seasoned and steamed lobster tail. Dads can choose to pair it with a Smoked Old Fashioned stirred up with Woodford Reserve bourbon, a taste of maple, Angostura bitters and Bordeaux cherry smoked with oak.

The restaurant will also have a variety of seasonal dishes for dad to try all weekend.

Chelsea Tavern

Dine at this downtown Wilmington eatery celebrating dad all weekend long. On June 19 and 20, enjoy brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or dinner from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Every dad goes home with a $25 gift card for a future dine-in visit.

Columbus Inn

This restaurant-meets-tavern is a great spot for special occasions. To celebrate, the Inn is hosting Father’s Day “Linner” on June 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations are required. The menu is coming soon, so be sure to check the eatery’s social media and website.

The Clubhouse at Baywood

This SoDel Concepts’ restaurant is hosting its annual Father’s Day bourbon brunch. Head to the Clubhouse for the Sagamore Rye Father’s Day Bourbon Brunch on June 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Learn about the Baltimore-based Sagamore Rye brand, along with a four-course meal paired with four cocktails. Plus, enjoy live music and a special Father’s Day giveaway.

Limestone BBQ and Bourbon

Plan lunch or dinner for dad with Limestone’s Philthy Feast. The meal includes 1-pound of prime rib, two chicken quarters, two hot Italian sausages, a half-pound of fork pulled pork, half rack of St. Louis ribs and five sides. This feast has a special holiday price of $59.
