Fish On Updates Outdoor Dining

Plants, herbs and Adirondack chairs enhance the atmosphere of the popular Lewes restaurant.

Fish On in the Villages of Five Points in Lewes recently enhanced its 48-seat patio to please customers who want to relax in a peaceful setting. Ornamental plants and herbs are spread throughout the space, thanks to Chris Wertz, a horticulturist with SoDel Concepts, which owns Fish On and seven other coastal restaurants. “There is nothing better than dining out under the stars in the summer time,” says Scott Kammerer, president and CEO of SoDel Concepts. “Whenever we can, we try to create cool outdoor spaces for our guests. Fish On’s wonderful patio lets family, friends and our neighbors at the Villages of Five Points enjoy a meal along with a slice of neighborhood ambiance.” In addition to the 11 tables on the patio, there are clusters of Adirondack chairs, where guests can sit while waiting for a table. Other outdoor spaces include the decks of SoDel’s Papa Grande’s Coastal Taqueria in Rehoboth Beach and Fenwick Island, Catch 54’s decks, also in Fenwick Island, NorthEast Seafood Kitchen in Ocean View and the deck at Bluecoast Seafood Grill in Bethany Beach.
