Eat local food, drink wine and carve a pumpkin for Halloween in Trolley Square without the noisy crowds from 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the Delaware Local Food Exchange. Avee Elliott will demonstrate pumpkin-carving techniques and help participants create their own special jack-o’-lanterns. There will be snacks made from foods produced by local farms. And Moore Brothers Wine Company will offer complimentary wine tastings to pair with the food. BYOB is welcome, too. The cost is $30. For tickets, visit https://squareup.com/market/delocalfoodex. Bonus: Read about Delaware Local Food Exchange founder Karen Igou in our October issue.
