Macaroni and cheese paired with craft beer is the ultimate marriage story.
And now, two Delaware companies are bringing it to fruition. Grandpa Mac and Revelation Craft Brewing Company are coming together in the brewery’s upcoming Georgetown location. The mac and cheese restaurant will be opening a new concept within the brewery called Grandpa’s Kitchen.
The news was announced via video on Revelation’s Facebook page.
“As you know we’re doing some tremendous renovations out there, big changes, one of the biggest is our new kitchen-restaurant space out there,” said Patrick Staggs, brewmaster and co-founder. “And so in choosing the right partners on this project, we started to call around, we wanted to find someone who shared the same values as us.”
In that search, the Revelation team found chef Hari Cameron and the Grandpa Mac team. Cameron then appears in the video from beneath the bar.
“We’re so excited to be partnering with Revelation. We’re going to call it Grandpa’s Kitchen at Revelation Brewery,” Cameron said. “You’ll be able to get some of the pastas that you know and love, but some really great beer inspired cuisine as well.”
The big catch? As Staggs begins to say the opening date of the concept, the video bleeps out the details, keeping viewers on their toes. The video’s post, however, says that Revelation Georgetown is anticipated to open in late spring of 2020.
This will be the second location for Revelation. Cameron recently closed his a(MUSE.) restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. Grandpa Mac currently has one location at 18756 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach.
