Fresh cranberries are only harvested in fall, which perhaps explains why they’re popular during the holidays. Now you can enjoy the fruit’s tart-sweet seasonal flavor and help others at the same time. Grotto Pizza has partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to feature the distillery’s “Cocktail for a Cause.”
Through December 31, Meals on Wheels Delaware will receive $1 from the sale of each Tito’s Cranberry Punch sold at the restaurants. Along with Tito’s, the bright cocktail includes cranberry juice and orange liqueur. How is it different from a cosmo? The addition of prosecco for a celebratory touch.
Meals on Wheels raises funds to support participating programs delivering food to the homebound. In 2023, about 1,000 people volunteered to transport 852,083 nutritious hot meals to more than 6,600 seniors statewide.
