Remember the opening of Locale BBQ last summer? Hungry patrons lined up for messy helpings of ribs, brisket and barbecue, which often sold out within hours during the first few weeks. Locale BBQ is still a hot lunch spot, as well as a go-to for baptisms, graduations and office parties.
On Wednesday, Aug. 17, the eatery is celebrating its one-year anniversary by offering a free $3 side with every sandwich. They also donate $1 from every sandwich sold each Wednesday to the Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, so plan on taking an extended lunch break. And perhaps pack a bib (or just avoid wearing your favorite white shirt).
