What can I expect at the event?
The burger battle first began in 2012 and has seen plenty of success when it comes to competition and charity.
Ticket holders are able to sample burgers from each booth of various participating restaurants, and attendees get to have a hand in naming the best burger in the state. Tickets also include alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, according to the website.
Guests get three votes, which can be given to one restaurant or split between multiple vendors, according to the website. At the end, votes will be tallied up to determine the People’s Choice Winner. The judges panel will choose the Critic’s Choice Winner and the Best Alternative Burger.
The burger battle will be held rain or shine, and is open to all ages. But, please leave pets at home, according to the website. There will be free parking nearby, including handicapped parking.
