The closing of the Wendy’s on Concord Pike last year saddened many of us. But our spirits lifted immediately when news broke that the fast-food joint would be replaced with a Starbucks.
After over four months of construction, the coffee chain’s newest Wilmington location is finally open.

The grand opening kicked off today—Friday, June 15—at 5 a.m. and will last until 10 p.m. The new location offers a drive-through service, plus nitro cold brew on draft.
