The Bridgeville Apple-Scrapple Festival turns 20 this month. Fans of our favorite pork product can head to town for a classic car show, farm fun at T.S. Smith & Sons, the Hogg Jogg 5K and every kind of scrapple contest imaginable, from scrapple shotput to an invitational scrapple sling. If you can’t make the festival, check out scrapple on local menus. Two favorites: The scrambled egg-scrapple tacos at Papa Grande’s in Rehoboth Beach and Fenwick Island and the scrapple pie at Luigi’s Pizza in Woodside. Who needs pepperoni?
