Kenny and Rose Wang—the owners of Kenny’s Pan Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar in Bear—recently announced that after 12 years in business, they will be “semi-retiring” and closing their restaurant. The contemporary fusion restaurant that serves creative sushi rolls, Chinese, Japanese and some Thai, will close Wednesday, June 26 at 2 p.m.
While diners morn the closing of Kenny’s, a new restaurant will be moving in. Two Claws—a Cajun seafood eatery—will offer everything from authentic seafood boils to fresh king crab, lobster and shrimp.
The owner, JinJin Chen, is well known from the popular Poke Bros. establishments, which has over 24 locations. The Poke Bros. chain—which offers diners Hawaiian poke bowls in a quick, casual atmosphere—has grown rapidly since 2015.
Two Claws will be the first Cajun seafood restaurant in the Bear area. It is expected to open in the late summer of 2019. Follow Two Claws’ Facebook page for opening details and menu offerings.
