After a movie, concert or a late shift, you might feel like grabbing a bite before you head home. After pandemic shutdowns, it’s increasingly difficult to find a good late-night bite. Convenience stores, sub shops and fast-food restaurants aren’t the only options, though. Here are a few Delaware restaurants that can feed the after-10 p.m. crowd.
Note that menu items and hours are subject to change depending on the season. Some restaurants close early on slow nights despite the posted hours. “If you go 30 minutes after 10 p.m. without customers, they’ll probably close up,” one insider confided. When in doubt, call.
Statewide
The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille
The chain has many locations across Delaware. On the weekends, The Greene Turtle is open until midnight, or 1 a.m. in Newark.
Grotto Pizza
Certain locations are open until midnight or 1 a.m.
Buffalo Wild Wings
The national chain is franchised in the First State under Delaware-owned High 5 Hospitality. Locations across Delaware are open until 11 p.m. during the week, and midnight on the weekends.
Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen
All Grain locations serve food until close. Hours may vary by location, but you can expect Grain to be open until 1 a.m. Thursday to Saturday.

Banks’ Seafood Kitchen & Raw Bar
The bar menu is available until closing, which is 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Selections include raw bar items, sandwiches and seafood tacos including lobster tacos with tomato relish, and ahi tuna tacos with avocado, lime, chiles, tomato and cilantro.
