Indulge in a night of natural wine with Ouro Wines, FranksWine and Le Cavalier.
On March 25, the French brasserie, located at 42 W. 11th St. in Wilmington, will host a four-course dinner accompanied by seven wine pairings. The dinner is $75 a person, and attendees can choose the 5:30 or 8 p.m. seating.
Ouro Wines and FranksWine will provide the vino for guests to try. Ouro’s Sam Anderson—the former Wine and Beverage Director of Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning NYC restaurants—will walk guests through a curated selection of natural wines from small winemakers with a focus on the Loire and Roussillon regions of France. Le Cav’s Chef-Partner Tyler Akin will debut a new early spring menu for the occasion, according to a news release.

Courses include Salade du Moment (mache and watercress with green garlic buttermilk vinaigrette, chanterelle mushrooms and crispy potatoes); Raviolo (foie gras mousse, sauce choron, pea leaf); Chicken Provencal (Green Circle Chicken, roasted shallots, herbes de Provence, vermouth and Camargue red rice) and Chocolate-Rye Cake (hazelnut butter icing and raspberries).
Guests will enjoy two wines paired with the savory courses, one French and one non-French, and one wine paired with the dessert course.
