The restaurant deals just keep on coming. Mark your calendars for Kent County Restaurant Week, Oct. 18-25, when area restaurants will offer prix-fixe meals and special menus at discounted prices.
The kickoff, “Sunday Brunch at the Winery,” on Oct. 18 is really going to be fun. Harvest Ridge Winery, Painted Stave Distilling, Rebel Seed Cider, Liquid Alchemy Beverages and Fenwick Wine Cellars will be pouring their locally made wines and spirits at Harvest Ridge.
The brunch, catered by the soon-to-open Inn at Duck Creek, includes an omelet station, a carving station with ham and turkey, French toast, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit salad, bagels and croissants.
During the week, don’t miss deals like the one at Bonz Restaurant at Harrington Raceway & Casino. The three-course, prix-fixe menu ($35) is tempting: first course, choice of arugula salad or oysters Rockefeller; second course, choice of espresso-rubbed pork loin or Chilean sea bass; and third course, choice of espresso crème brûlée or chocolate cake. Wherever you go, it’s a good idea to make reservations.
