If, like my boyfriend, you are a chronic procrastinator when it comes to buying gifts, consider snagging a bottle of Harvest Ridge Winery’s new release: a delicious sangria. According to their winemaker, the sangria consists of a 100 percent Chambourcin grape wine base, naturally blended with fresh citrus, blueberry and pomegranate that complement the juicy berry flavors. Serve it chilled on its own or on ice with a slice of orange. It sells for just $16 a bottle—at that price, you might as well get her a dozen!
Harvest Ridge is also expanding: The winery will be opening a tasting room in Toughkenamon, Pa., just minutes from Kennett Square and Avondale, Pa. The tasting room is still under construction, but check for updates on the winery’s blog.
