Cannon’s Cake and Candy Supplies made a shocking announcement on Facebook last week that had Delawareans in a panic.
The beloved bakery that has been open for over 40 years announced it was going out of business and would close its doors on Saturday, June 29 at 4 p.m.
But after much commotion, Cannon’s confirmed that the bakery will remain open and that the supply store—located across the street from the bakery—is shuttering its doors (the bakery and the supply store are actually run by different people).
But for any Martha Stewart wannabes, now’s the time to stock up on all the decorating and candy-making supplies you ever dreamed of owning. From now until June 29, the supply store is now offering extreme discounts. The entire store is 40 percent off through June 22 and 50 percent off through June 29.
The last day to have orders shipped is Friday, June 21 (after that, sales will be pick-up only).
