It’s a Peach Party Weekend at Milburn Orchards in nearby Elkton on Aug. 2-3. The fun begins with a breakfast from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m., when you can enjoy peach pancakes with sausage and a beverage for $7, followed by a harvest party 11 a.m.-3 p.m. You can sample all the farm’s peach products, take part in a homemade peach ice cream demo (if you help crank it, you can help eat it) and, if you’re a kid, enter the peach pie-eating contest.
