After seven years, restaurant will hold its final service on New Year’s Eve.
A well-known Rehoboth Beach eatery will hold its final service as we know it on New Year’s Eve. Critically-acclaimed restaurant a(MUSE.), located at 44 Baltimore Ave., will be sold to new owners. The news was announced via social media channels on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Owner and chef Hari Cameron wrote that he was “presented with an unexpected opportunity to sell” the restaurant. After discussing it with family, he decided to accept the offer.
“I want to thank you all for your support since we opened our doors in May 2012,” Cameron wrote. “Since that time, I have been able to realize my dream of owning a successful restaurant, meeting wonderful peers in the industry, making new friends in our loyal guests and providing enjoyable memorable meals.”

The James Beard-nominated chef plans to “explore new projects in the area, continue to grow our Grandpa Mac brand [another restaurant in Rehoboth Beach] and spend more time with my growing family.”
Customers can continue to visit the restaurant through New Year’s Eve (it will be closed on Christmas). Gift certificates can be used with an added bonus or will be given a refund.
“I welcome all our friends to come and share another meal, drink or story with our staff, that has become family, and take in the last couple weeks of a(MUSE.) before we exit so that the space can be made into someone else’s dream,” Cameron concluded.
