Stock up on some fresh fruits and vegetables on Wednesday, May 17, when Downtown Visions and Mayor Mike Purzycki celebrate the grand opening of the Downtown Farmers Market at Rodney Square at noon.
The 2017 season of the Downtown Wilmington Farmers Market at Rodney Square operates every Wednesday, rain or shine, through Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., except for June 21 during the DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Fest. The farmers market offers an array of fresh local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers, a large assortment of arts and crafts, unique jewelry and delicious baked goods. Grab lunch at one of the local food trucks—Kapow Food Truck, Koi On The Go and I Don’t Give A Fork—while enjoying free live entertainment.
The farmers market is located at Rodney Square, between 10th and 11th Streets and Market and King Streets.
