Get Your Tickets for the MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival Now

The wait is over, as tickets for the 2015 MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival presented by Bank of America are now on sale at www.mawff.org. In addition to festival week, May 13-17, the first of several preview events is fast approaching. A Taste of the MidAtlantic takes place March 8 at the new Community Education Building, 1200 N. French St., Wilmington. For $75, guests will enjoy food and beverages from area chefs and purveyors, wineries, distilleries and breweries, as well as festive music. A true local preview of the four-day international Festival, A Taste of the MidAtlantic has confirmed chefs from multiple states to showcase their talents. They are Robert Bennett of Classic Cake in Philadelphia, Dan Butler of Piccolina Toscana in Wilmington, Tom Hannum of Buckley’s Tavern in Centreville, Robbie Jester of Stone Balloon Ale House in Newark, Shane Kellagher of 14 Global in Bethany Beach, Keith Miller of Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Dan Sheridan of Wilmington Pickling Company in Wilmington, Bryan Sikora of La Fia Bakery + Market + Bistro in Wilmington, Susan Teiser of Montrachêt Fine Foods and Centreville Café in Centreville, Jeovany Valle of Caffé Gelato in Newark, Jonathan Waddington of The Telford Inn in Mantua, New Jersey, and Lee Wroten Jr. of Feby’s Fishery in Wilmington. Festival president Vance Kershner promises an exciting year for the region’s food, wine, beer and spirits lovers, “This year’s Festival week is made up of 35 events, and we’ve dug deep to find even more special venues that keep the Festival fresh for returning guests. We’re expanding into both New Jersey and Maryland, ensuring visitors get a true MidAtlantic experience.
