Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen, which currently owns and operates threegastropubsin Delaware and Pennsylvania, just released a new focused menu at allof its locations. The revamped lineup is the productofover four months of collaboration between the restaurants’ chefs andteams.
“We took the existing menu, cut it in half, and then allowed the chefs to explore and add dishes,”says co-owner LeeMikles.“It was something special to see them collaborate and taste the results.”
ManyGrain favorites, such asthefried pickles andCubanosandwich, remain onthe menu.New items include aSouthwestern Cobbsaladwith barbecue-ranch dressinganda salmon BLTwithcilantro aiolion toasted multi-grain bread.The menu also featuressummer elixirs—alcohol-freecraft cocktails containingagave, guava nectar and muddled fruit.
Each location’s chef willalso addabout five of his own distinct items to the menu (steamed shrimp at GrainH2O, for example), allowing for further creative experimentation and ideas for the next menu refresh in the fall.
