Get a head start on your Father’s Day shopping or getting graduation gifts and head to the Newark Art & Food Truck Fest on Friday, May 17 from 5-8 p.m., hosted by the Newark Arts Alliance and Outlandish Food Truck. The event combines beautiful art, delicious food and a great cause into one amazing night.
Here are just a few of the activities that are planned for the evening:
- View the “Works on Paper, Works of Paper” exhibition
- Get a peek of Long Play Cafè, a not yet opened record store, café and live performance venue
- Get creative with a free art project
- Enjoy face-painting and extended hours at Captain Blue Hen Comics

After all that, fuel up at one of the local food trucks:

- Maiale Deli and Salumeria
- Mojo Loco
- Olé Tapas
- Outlandish Food Truck

- Woody’s On Wheels
Beer or wine will be available inside the Newark Arts Alliance (all proceeds support the NAA’s many programs and activities).
