More Good News for Foodies Near Concord Pike

Additional Metro Diner and Poke Bros. locations are coming soon.

If you’re anything like me, you can definitely get in a dining rut, often due to proximity (or lack thereof) to certain establishments. But if you live within the vicinity of Concord Pike, there’s good news coming your way: Two new eateries are scheduled to open soon.

Metro Diner will be located at 5600 Concord Pike—directly across from the Market Square shopping center, which includes Trader Joe’s and T.J. Maxx. Metro Diner made its Delaware debut in Newark last year and recently opened up a location in Middletown. The Concord Pike location is scheduled to open Sept. 18.

Delaware finally caught onto the poke wave with the arrival Poke Bros.—the build-your-own-Hawaiian-sushi-bowl hotspot—in Newark last year. The eatery, which has another location in Pike Creek, will be opening in the Fairfax shopping center in Cupcake Heaven’s former spot (as well as an additional location in Middletown). Official opening dates have not yet been announced.
