There’s good news for those looking to satisfy their bison jones: Ted’s Montana Grill will open its first Delaware restaurant today, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. in the Christiana Fashion Center.
“We are proud to meet many new guests and deliver the best Ted’s dining experience to the Delaware community,” George McKerrow, CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing our commitment of authentic, genuine hospitality and delicious, made-from-scratch, honest ingredients reflected in every dish.”
The Atlanta-based chain, co-founded by media mogul Ted Turner, now has 46 restaurants in 18 states. It was recently voted “Best Bar and Grill” and one of the “10 Great Dining Picks” by Consumer Reports.
Ted’s Montana Grill is known for offering the largest bison menu in the world. The menu of American classics features all-natural, ranch-raised bison; certified Angus beef, burgers, chicken without antibiotics, hand-cut aged steaks, and seafood.
The Newark location includes a 4,600-square-foot interior that resembles a classic 19th-century saloon with wood-paneled walls, tin-pressed ceilings, mosaic-tiled floors, a bar and a patio. The dining room seats 130 guests; the patio seats 30.
A selection of custom cocktails, beer from Monumental Brewery, local brews from Twin Lakes and Dogfish Head, and a variety of premium wines are available.
The Newark location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. For more information, visit facebook.com/tedschristiana.
