River Towns Ride & Festival Tells a Tale of Two Cities

On Oct. 31, you can drink craft beer at events in Historic New Castle and Delaware City in conjunction with the River Towns Ride & Festival. The Craft Beer Festival in both locations runs from noon-5 p.m. and features more then 16 breweries.

A Family Festival will also be going on from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. with food, games, pony rides, hayrides, live music, tours and free pumpkin decorating and exhibitions. Free pumpkins will be given to the first 350 kids.

The event also has a bicycling component, where riders will cycle between the two destinations. The towns are 10 miles apart and connected by bike-friendly Del. 9. The ride and festival will be held rain or shine. For more information, visit www.rivertownsfestival.com.
