Roots Natural Kitchen—a popular fast-casual food chain with a location on Newark’s Main Street—calls on the community to unite for a friendly competition during its four-day “Battle of the Bowls” contest. From April 7 through April 10, this exciting event invites local participants to support a chosen organization while enjoying delicious, healthy food.
The contest is simple: local organizations in Newark (think: university clubs, sororities and fraternities, athletic teams, etc.) sign up to participate. Then, they rally supporters to place orders at Roots Natural Kitchen, either in-store or online, using their organization’s unique code. Each order placed using the code will count toward that organization’s total. The organization that generates the most orders by the end of the competition will win the grand prize, which includes a $2,500 charitable donation to the organization of their choice, a free catered meal from Roots for their team, and fun Roots merchandise for the whole team.

How to Sign up for Battle of the Bowls
Register your organization, team, or club through the online signup form, then encourage your supporters to place orders using the code provided by Roots Natural Kitchen between Monday, April 7 and Thursday, April 10. Whichever organization has the most orders by the end of April 10 will win!
