Small Bites Competition Comes to New Castle

The first annual Small State, Small Bites competition will take place on April 29 from 6–9 p.m. to benefit the students of MOT Charter High School.

The competition will be held in the Buena Vista Mansion in New Castle. Local chefs will battle over who can compose the “perfect bite.” Local judges will grade the dishes based on visual appeal, portion size, taste, creativity and uniqueness.

Chefs from Metro Pub and Grill, Aqua Sol, 301 Plaza Restaurant and Catherine Rooney’s will all be participating, among others. A silent auction will also accompany the event. Tickets are $50 each and are now available.
