With the luck of the Irish, Delaware is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.
While annual parades and other large events are postponed due to COVID-19, there are still multiple events and food specials across the First State during the month of March for the holiday.
Bethany Blues, Lewes Location
Dustin Showers will perform at the Lewes location on March 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. All Bethany Blues locations will be having some great St. Patrick’s Day drink specials such as $5 Guinness cans, $7 car bombs, $6 Irish crushes and $3 Jameson shots. Bethany Blues is also offering to-go drink specials which are $5 Guinness cans in a 4 pack for $18, $6 Irish crushes in a 4 pack for $20, and $6 Jameson DBL shots.

Get Lucky 5k
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by signing up for the Get Lucky 5k in Newark. The race begins at 9 a.m. on March 14 and will be held at Canal Little League. There is a $29 sign-up fee, which includes a free pair of fusion racing socks. Runners are encouraged to wear their favorite green shirt for this St. Patrick’s Day-themed race. After the race, runners are welcome to go to the Stone Balloon Ale House in Newark for a pint and some shepherd’s pie made by Chef Robbie Jester.

Enjoy Irish-themed menu specials and drinks the week of St. Patrick’s Day. Starting on March 15, the Newark location will offer St. Patty’s Day-themed green Irish crushes complete with a lime shamrock garnish.
