Everywhere you turn, restaurants are jumping on the Cinco de Mayo bandwagon. But if all the music, tequila and hoopla are too much for you, consider celebrating with a few cocktails at home. A.j. Borrero—Big Chill Surf Cantina’s general manager and bartender—has kindly shared a recipe for Cantina’s Coco-Rita (there’s a reason why this hip hangout has won a Best of Delaware in the past for best cocktail selection).
If you don’t feel confident about your bartending skills, just head to the Cantina in Rehoboth Beach and pop a squat at the bar. The margarita pairs perfectly with one of Taco Reho’s fresh tacos.
