Super Supermarket Restaurant

The 111,000-square-foot Wegman’s just opened in Concordville, Pa. Here’s what you need to know about it.

It’s certainly no secret that Wegmans recently opened across the state line in Concordville, Pa. But the mega-supermarket offers more than groceries and to-go foods at the 111,000-square-foot store off Route 202. Shoppers can also eat lunch and dinner at The Pub at Wegmans, a sit-down, family-friendly restaurant—one of only seven full-service Wegmans eateries in the country. The menu includes items like a lobster roll (pictured), hand-breaded calamari, Caesar salad with salmon, an applewood bacon burger, seared scallops, steak and fries, desserts and more. Check out the weekly specials, too. On Saturdays after 4 p.m., a 12-ounce prime rib with roasted potatoes, green beans and au jus is offered for $21. There’s also a drinks menu with craft beers, wines and signature cocktails. To kick off the new store’s opening, the bar featured a rosemary pomegranate sangria with a Chaddsford Winery white, triple sec, fresh squeezed orange, Pama liqueur, pomegranate seeds and fresh rosemary. The Pub is open 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Sun.-Thurs. and 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Fri.-Sat. The market is open 24 hours a day.
